VP, Head of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is a senior finance executive responsible for leading enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, performance management, strategic analysis, and executive decision support. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role serves as a critical business partner to the Executive Leadership Team and plays a central role in shaping the Company's financial strategy, operational priorities, and long-term value creation agenda.
The successful candidate will drive the planning and reporting processes that underpin business performance, deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making, and ensure leadership has clear visibility into key performance drivers, opportunities, and risks.
In addition, the role will assume responsibility for Investor Relations activities, partnering closely with executive leadership to support earnings communications, investor engagement, market intelligence, and shareholder communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute the Company's financial strategy and long-range planning process.
- Lead enterprise-wide annual budgeting, strategic planning, and quarterly forecasting activities.
- Provide financial leadership on business performance, resource allocation, capital deployment, and growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic decisions, scenario planning, and long-term value creation.
- Deliver clear recommendations and insights that influence executive and Board-level decision making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial, operational, and market dynamics impacting business performance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead all FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, and performance analysis.
- Establish a rigorous performance management framework that drives accountability and operational excellence across the organization.
- Monitor and analyse key business metrics, financial performance indicators, profitability drivers, and operational KPIs.
- Deliver timely executive reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Drive forecasting accuracy and continuous improvement of planning processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Support M&A evaluations, strategic investments, business cases, and other corporate development initiatives.
Business Partnership & Commercial Finance
- Serve as the senior finance partner to business leaders across Sales, Operations, Product, Services, and Corporate Functions.
- Support commercial decision-making through pricing analysis, profitability modelling, contract evaluation, and investment prioritization.
- Provide financial leadership for major customer engagements, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Evaluate strategic opportunities and risks, balancing near-term performance objectives with long-term value creation.
- Support go-to-market planning through financial analysis of market expansion opportunities, new service offerings, and pricing strategies.
Investor Relations & Capital Markets
- Lead the Company's Investor Relations program and external financial communication strategy.
- Partner with the CFO, CEO, Legal, and Corporate Communications teams to prepare quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and external financial messaging.
- Maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other capital markets stakeholders.
- Monitor investor sentiment, analyst coverage, shareholder activity, and market developments.
- Provide executive leadership with market intelligence and investor feedback to support strategic decision-making.
- Support investor conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, analyst meetings, and other capital markets engagements.
Executive Reporting & Board Support
- Lead preparation of Board materials, executive presentations, KPI dashboards, and financial performance updates.
- Present business performance, forecasts, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and Board members.
- Translate complex financial data into concise, actionable insights for executive audiences.
- Support the Company's long-term strategic planning and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Risk Management & Governance
- Identify, assess, and communicate financial and operational risks impacting business performance.
- Partner with Finance leadership to support liquidity planning, balance sheet management, and capital allocation decisions.
- Ensure robust financial governance, planning controls, and reporting processes are maintained.
- Support public company reporting requirements and financial disclosure readiness.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing FP&A organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop finance talent and succession plans aligned to long-term business needs.
- Partner effectively across Finance and the wider organization to drive alignment and execution.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A leadership within a complex, large-scale organization.
- 5+ years of finance leadership experience within an AI infrastructure, GPU cloud, hyperscale cloud, data centre, or high-performance computing environment, with a strong understanding of AI compute economics, infrastructure scaling, capital allocation, and growth planning.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and Boards through strategic planning, forecasting, and business performance management.
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide planning processes and driving business performance improvement.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and Board-level audiences.
- Experience working within publicly traded companies and understanding of capital markets dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Preferred- Experience supporting Investor Relations activities for a publicly traded company.
- MBA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, or capital markets.
