VP, Enterprise Procurement

What you will be doing:

The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for leading and executing a unified procurement strategy across all business units at Premier. This role ensures alignment of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with enterprise priorities, driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation.

This role operates as an enterprise integrator, partnering across all business segments to standardize procurement practices and maximize Premier's scale and supplier relationships. This role will be responsible for driving measurable value creation (cost savings, efficiency, risk mitigation). This role will report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Procurement Strategy & Alignment - 30%
  • Lead enterprise procurement strategy across all business units
  • Align sourcing priorities with business and financial goals
  • Drive enterprise spend visibility and optimization


Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management - 25%
  • Lead enterprise sourcing and contracting processes
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance
  • Execute high-value negotiations


Governance, Risk & Compliance - 20%
  • Establish procurement policies and control
  • Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
  • Lead supplier risk management


Operations & Digital Enablement - 15%
  • Implement procurement tools and systems
  • Drive process standardization and efficiency
  • Develop analytics and reporting capabilities


Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement - 10%
  • Partner with executive and business unit leaders
  • Lead procurement organization
  • Influence of enterprise decision-making


Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Education:

  • Demonstrated vendor/partner negotiation experience and measurable cost savings.
  • Proven Experience on the execution of a centralized procurement transformation
  • Change management experience


Education:
  • Master's degree in business or related field

Working Conditions: Air conditioned office space

Travel Requirements: Travel 1-20% within the US

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $205,000 - $380,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
