Overview In this role, the incumbent should have a passion for service and innovation, be engaged in ensuring exceptional value is provided to our internal teams and ultimately our members. Responsibilities will include lending growth for Direct and Indirect consumer portfolio's, profitability, consumer loan credit quality, staff productivity, ongoing loan training, product and procedure instructions and loan policy compliance and maintenance. The successful candidate will also successfully initiate and manage multiple cross-functional projects and programs to meet the needs of a diverse population of members, increasing visibility and product penetration.
Responsibilities- Provide successful leadership and strategic direction of consumer lending direct and indirect portfolios (non-real estate) including underwriting loan requests, loan servicing, Fintech relationships, and marketing of consumer loan products
- Develop and implement comprehensive procedures for new products or services; manage and maintain credit policy procedures
- Maintain and assist with the enhancements of the loan origination system, including integration of various Patelco applications to include implementation of new products
- Responsible for overall credit administration and consistent review of credit underwriting opportunities to leverage automation
- Improve profitability of consumer lending product portfolio through careful product mix and pricing management
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert with consumer lending products and processes with ability to identify weaknesses, offer solutions and solve problems
- Ensure productivity standards are met including high level quality service internally and externally
- Ensure consumer loan credit quality and use statistics to increase product profitability, including new loan acquisitions
- Develop, maintain, and distribute monthly loan productivity statistics
- Successfully integrate loan objectives, opportunities, and resources to meet loan growth goals
- Build positive relationships with senior leaders and collaboratively obtain full support from other departments
- Collaborate with colleagues across organization to accomplish credit union's goals
- Demonstrate ability to recognize, analyze and develop solutions to issues that arise
- Develop processes to improve the effectiveness of the department and overall operation of the organization
- Participate in external examinations and be liaison with external auditors
- Coach and develop staff to increase product knowledge and management, improving effectiveness of individuals, teams and department performance
- Mentor and provide staff with the resources needed to attain results and goals
- Manage resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Make sound decisions with confidence when faced with multi-faceted problems

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years work experience
- Minimum 5 years work experience in customer service and consumer lending
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Ability to travel to branches for training, meetings, or events; Driver's license required
- Proficient in MS applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Loan Origination systems and Summit or like system
- This position is located in Dublin HQ
Target Base Pay$220,000 -$240,000/yearly
