OverviewDecisionPoint seeks aVoice Tier 3 Engineerto provide advanced voice engineering support for the U.S. Air Force Executive Airlift Communications Network program. The engineer will configure, secure, troubleshoot, and sustain Cisco voice systems supporting mission-critical communications across EACN operational and test environments.
The Voice Tier 3 Engineer will develop andmaintainVoIP and Session Initiation Protocol connections, implement approved upgrades and security changes, and support integration with external customer voice networks.
This position primarily supports the EACN Systems Integration Laboratory and operational Air-to-GIG Gateway environments. On-site work and travel to supported Air Force locations may berequired.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Voice Tier 3 Engineer will:
- Configure, develop, patch, secure, and enhanceCisco VoIP systems.
- Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity, Instant Messaging and Presence, and teleconference bridges.
- Configure andmaintainCisco Unified Border Elements, Session Border Controllers, Ribbon VX900 devices, and related voice infrastructure.
- Develop and troubleshoot SIP connections between EACN and external customer voice networks.
- Support integration with Call Manager Express, SRST, Asterisk, and other Cisco VoIP environments.
- Test voice-system patches, upgrades, and configuration changes before operational deployment.
- Apply DISA STIGs and cybersecurity requirements to voice systems and supporting devices.
- Troubleshoot complex voice, call-routing, interoperability, and service-quality issues.
- Support VoIP capabilities within the Systems Integration Laboratory and operational gateway environments.
- Develop andmaintainconfiguration guides, diagrams, checklists, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate voice-engineering activities with network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, site technicians, and Government stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and training to Government and contractor personnel.
Qualifications
Clearance Requirement:
Must hold an activeTopSecretclearance.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, ora related field.
Experience:
- Minimum five years of VoIP experience.
- Experience configuring and sustaining enterprise Cisco voice environments.
- Experience with CUCM, Cisco Unity, SIP, Session Border Controllers, and voice gateways.
- Experience troubleshooting call routing, interoperability, and voice-quality issues.
- Experience supporting classified or mission-critical communications environments preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and enterprise VoIP architecture.
- Knowledge of SIP, call routing, dial plans, CUBE, Session Border Controllers, and SRST.
- Familiarity with voice-system patching, STIG implementation, configuration management, and laboratory testing.
- Understanding ofnetwork technologies supporting voice services, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and quality of service.
- Ability to document voice architectures, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Certifications:
- Cisco voice certification with a concentration in Cisco Unified Communications Managerrequiredat the time of contract award.
- Appropriate DoDM 8140.03 and IAT Level II certificationrequired.
- Additional Cisco collaboration or cybersecuritycertificationspreferred.
Skills:

Compensation: Anticipated salary range is $79,759.00 6$88,215.00 per year
