Description RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Virtualization Engineer/Administrator - Level 2 to support and optimize enterprise virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware technologies. The successful candidate will assist with virtualization operations, system maintenance, performance optimization, backup and recovery, automation, and infrastructure security.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure environments.
- Provision and administer virtual machines.
- Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
- Implement automation and security hardening solutions.
- Support backup and recovery operations using Cohesity and Veeam.
- Assist with Windows and Linux server administration.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications - TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
- 3-5 years of virtualization engineering or administration experience.
- VMware vSphere expertise.
- Experience with backup and recovery technologies including Cohesity and Veeam.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation.
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
- CompTIA Security+ and DoD 8570 IAT II certification required.
