Virgil Law - Corporate / ECVC Associate (Remote)

Qualifications

• 2-6 years post-JD experience in ECVC or startup corporate law (Big Law, in-house, or solo)
• Experience working with multiple clients across various industries
• J.D. degree and active bar admission required
• Enthusiasm for building a firm from the ground up
• Familiarity with AI tools in legal practice
• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ECVC counsel for a portfolio of VC-backed startups from pre-seed to Series B
• Draft and review governance documents, SAFEs, convertible notes, and priced-round documents for Delaware C-Corps and PBCs
• Engage with founders on a daily basis in a subscription model
• Delegate tasks and manage paralegals effectively
• Assist engineers in refining internal tools and workflows
