Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales - IT & OEM is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic execution across Rittal's IT, data center, and OEM segments in the United States.
Reporting to the CEO North America, this role translates enterprise-level commercial strategy into focused market execution. The VP leads all aspects of the commercial function, including direct sales, channel strategy, and ecosystem development, while ensuring strong alignment with North American and global objectives. This position will also have dotted line reporting to global EVP of Hyperscale BU.
This role combines strategic leadership with operational rigor, driving profitable growth while optimizing the commercial model, strengthening customer relationships, and advancing Rittal's position in high-growth markets such as Hyperscale data centers, IT infrastructure including enterprise and edge data centers, along with IT system integrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Segment Strategy & Growth Execution
  • Own and execute the North American Hyperscale and commercial IT strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Drive top-line revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability across IT, data center, and OEM markets.
  • Identify and capture new growth opportunities, including emerging technologies, vertical markets, and solution-based offerings.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that differentiate Rittal's IT portfolio and value proposition.
  • Identify portfolio gaps and recommend product initiatives to grow business aligned with Rittal-The-System approach with a solutions selling mindset.

Financial Accountability
  • Direct ownership of Hyperscale and IT infrastructure revenue targets and profitability.
  • Accountability for SG&A performance, cost control, and EBIT contribution.
  • Compensation tied to revenue achievement and P&L performance.

Leadership Scope
  • Direct leadership of national Hyperscale and IT infrastructure sales teams and functional leaders.
  • Indirect influence across channel partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Key member of the leadership team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience selling technology-based products within IT, preferably data center infrastructure.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing sales organizations in complex or matrix environments.
  • Proven experience with P&L ownership, SG&A management, and financial analysis.
  • Deep expertise in both direct and indirect (channel) sales models.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented leadership style.
