Summary:

The Operations Leader is responsible for managing all areas of Operations to meet or exceed company expectations, including Safety, Environmental, Quality Systems, Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, and Manufacturing. This role drives continuous improvement through defined performance metrics and ensures products, processes, and systems align with Mondi USA's mission, values, and goals.

Your Mission:
  • Lead all operational areas including Safety, Environmental, Quality Systems, Facilities, Maintenance and Engineering, and Manufacturing
  • Drive continuous improvement across all operational areas using agreed performance metrics
  • Ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations through strong manufacturing practices and quality standards
  • Improve products, processes, and procedures while optimizing use of human resources
  • Achieve financial objectives by developing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing plant assets
  • Oversee material movement, storage, purchasing systems, and inventory control
  • Recruit, coach, and develop operations leadership to drive performance and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures
  • Report non-conforming materials and process deviations into the Non-Conformance Management System
  • Contribute as a member of the senior management team by aligning cross-functional objectives and supporting strategic initiatives


Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 8-10 years of experience in operations or manufacturing leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, including production, quality, and sales alignment
  • Experience with blown film and flexible packaging processes preferred
  • Strong understanding of diverse cultural and organizational environments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to understand employee and customer needs
