This position serves as a senior executive leader responsible for overseeing strategic direction, executive oversight, and performance accountability for the delivery of complex healthcare projects, including hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities, and renovations in occupied environments..

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Executive & Operational Leadership - Set and execute operational strategy for healthcare construction aligned with company objectives and client expectations.
- Provide executive oversight of project performance, resource deployment, and operational risk across the healthcare portfolio.
- Establish performance expectations, metrics, and accountability for healthcare operations.
Healthcare Project Oversight - Oversee delivery of healthcare projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring consistency, quality, and predictability.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare-specific requirements, including infection control, interim life safety measures, phased construction, and work in occupied facilities.
- Monitor portfolio-level risks and proactively address schedule, cost, safety, or compliance challenges.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management - Champion a strong safety culture with heightened focus on patient, staff, and public safety.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, building codes, and contractual obligations.
- Provide executive leadership during incidents, disruptions, or high-risk situations.
Financial & Performance Management - Oversee operational financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance.
- Drive operational efficiency, value optimization, and continuous improvement across healthcare projects.
- Report operational and financial performance to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as a senior executive partner to healthcare clients, health system leadership, and key project stakeholders.
- Strengthen long-term client relationships and support business growth within the healthcare market.
- Represent the company within the healthcare construction industry.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the healthcare construction industry, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CCM (Certified Construction Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), or LEED AP highly desirable.
- Experience managing large-scale projects and teams.
