Vice President of Claims

The Vice President of Claims will support RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC. The Vice President of Claims provides strategic leadership and direction for all default functions specific to Mortgage Insurance Claims, ensuring strict adherence to Agency, GSE, and MI guidelines and regulatory requirements, as well as internal company policies. This role is accountable for managing the end-to-end claims process with a strong focus on obtaining maximum recovery, improving timelines, and ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

The Vice President of Claims will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. This role requires an experienced leader with direct knowledge of Ginnie Mae claims, who can lead high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement.

 Responsibilities:

• Provide direct leadership and direction to the Claims department.
• Build scalable processes that ensure all Claims milestones are met timely with maximum recovery.
• Lead a team responsible for timely, accurate claim filing.
• Proactively monitor, interpret, and implement changes impacting claims operations to ensure ongoing compliance and operational readiness.
• Establish and execute strategies to improve process timelines, quality, and performance in alignment with company goals.
• Maintain scalable, efficient, and compliant processes, procedures, and controls.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with direct reports, internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless operational execution.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous development among team members.
• Identify risk, resolve escalations, and implement controls to mitigate future issues.
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in leadership.
• 7+ years of direct experience managing GSE Claims.
• 7+ years of direct experience managing GNMA Claims.
• 5+ years’ experience in MSP/Black Knight products.
• Proven record of leadership and sound management skills.
• Deep understanding of all GNMA and GSE servicing guides.
• Strong problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Management experience in multi-site/offshore teams preferred.
