Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for leading US market access strategies across payer access, reimbursement policy, CMS and Medicaid strategy, HEOR, coverage/payment pull through, field reimbursement, patient services and provider-facing access support. This leader will play a critical role in shaping how providers, patients and health systems gain access to our products, including influencing the broader reimbursement, coverage and policy environment to support long-term RP growth.
The ideal candidate will bring strong market access leadership in complex, specialty healthcare markets, including deep understanding of reimbursement, provider economics, government payer dynamics and access execution in the field. This individual should be equally comfortable shaping strategy at the leadership level and overseeing practical execution across the market access verticals.
This is a highly visible leadership role at GE HealthCare and will partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial Operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and lead the US market access strategy for RP portfolio aligned to business priorities, growth objectives and future launches
- Develop and execute strategies across commercial and government payer access, reimbursement policy, providers reimbursement, and access pull-through
- Lead planning related to Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, and reimbursement policy, including assessment of coding, coverage and payment dynamics impacting the entire portfolio
- Define and lead the HEOR and value evidence strategy in support of payer engagement, provider economics and broader market adoption
- Oversee development of access related tools and programs including economic models, value communication assets, and evidence-based support for payer and provider discussions
- Lead field reimbursement and patient service strategy, including education, escalation support, service model, and access-related operational support
- Partner closely and compliantly with commercial teams to ensure access strategy supports customer onboarding, reimbursement readiness and utilization growth
- Provide strategic guidance on provider economics and practical reimbursement barriers across hospitals, FSICs, physician practices and other target sites of care
- Lead external market access and policy engagement strategies that help shape reimbursement and coverage environment for the entire GE HealthCare portfolio, including other segments, new product launches and acquisition product lines
- Identify, develop and support opportunities to influence coverage frameworks, reimbursement policies
- Help shape the evidence, health economic, and value narrative needed to support broader clinical acceptance, guidelines evolution and favorable healthcare coverage decisions
- Support launch readiness and lifecycle management with accountability for market access SME and workstreams
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team and scalable operating model to support a rapidly growing business
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in business management, public health, healthcare administration preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in market access, reimbursement, HEOR, health policy, payer strategy and patient services
- Significant experience in specialty pharma, Radiopharma, molecular imaging, oncology, specialty biopharma or other complex provider-administered healthcare segments
- Demonstrated expertise in US reimbursement an access, including Medicare/CMS and government payer strategy
- Experience leading or shaping field reimbursement, provider support, and patient service capabilities
- Experience leading and shaping external policy, reimbursement trends, guidelines and stakeholder engagement that influence access and coverage
- Proven ability to lead large teams, influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Experience launching new products or categories
- Experience supporting buy and bill, outpatient and imaging center site of care
- Strong knowledge of HEOR and real-world evidence strategies for access strategies
- Experience engaging with provider organizations, professional societies, policy stakeholders to support favorable market access conditions

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $240,000.00-$360,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
