We9re seeking a Vice President, Mainframe Engineer professional to join our Foundational Frameworks team in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, SAS, and VSAM.
  • Control-m scheduling system knowledge desirable.
  • Other mainframe utility understanding, including: InSync, IBM utilities, SyncSort, compares, SDSF, DumpMaster.
  • Experience with mainframe file structures including: PDS/E, Sequential and GDG.
  • AFP coding is desirable.
  • Assembler, Rexx and CList coding/understanding is a plus.
  • Participate in mainframe DevOps initiatives (GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing).
  • Administer and maintain IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) environments across development, testing, and production.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability.
  • Perform upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
  • Manage CMOD object servers, library servers, cache storage, and archival processes.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents and service requests.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations.
  • Support integrations between CMOD and upstream/downstream applications.
  • Support CMOD databases (DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server).
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure data retention policies are properly configured and enforced.
  • Support disaster recovery testing and business continuity initiatives.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor9s degree in computer science, or a related field.
  • EXPERIENCE - 5+ years of experience supporting mainframe applications.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM and SAS.
  • Understanding of batch processing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD or other source control tools.
  • Exposure to mainframe DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of REXX, Assembler.
  • IBM CMOD architecture.
  • Object Server and Library Server administration.
  • Indexing and document retrieval processes.
  • CMOD migration and upgrade procedures.
  • Linux/Unix administration.
  • SQL and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
