The
Vice President, GlobalIT Lead, Commercial is a senior technology leader reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer and is accountable for the end-to-end technology strategy, business partnership, delivery, and lifecycle management of all Commercial IT capabilities across Bausch + Lomb. This includes CRM, marketing and omnichannel platforms, Commercial data and analytics, pricing, service management, eCommerce, and field force technologies supporting the Consumer, Pharma, Vision Care, and Surgical businesses globally.
This leader ensures Commercial technology investments drive revenue growth, enhance customer and patient engagement, drive operational excellence while enabling platform standardization, innovation, and AI-driven insights at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary IT strategic partner to regional and global Commercial leadership teams across North America, Europe, APAC, and LATAM, influencing priorities and aligning technology investments with business objectives.
- Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the global Commercial technology roadmap, translating business priorities into actionable insights.
- Application Delivery & Lifecycle: Oversee the design, build, and global deployment of scalable Commercial solutions. Drive disciplined application lifecycle management, ensuring platforms deliver sustained business value. Lead application rationalization and modernization efforts to simplify and standardize the global Commercial technology stack.
- Innovation, Data and AI: Drive the adoption of AI, analytics, and automation to improve sales forecasting, pricing optimization, and customer insights.
- Governance & Standardization: Establish enterprise standards and architecture for Commercial applications, driving the simplification and consolidation of legacy or duplicative platforms.
- Operational Excellence: Manage strategic vendor relationships (SaaS and managed services) to ensure service quality, cost optimization, and value realization.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all global initiatives comply with security, privacy standards, and regional regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate across IT, Data, and Digital organizations to ensure integrated end-to-end capabilities that support the entire Commercial value chain.
Qualifications & Experience- Experience: 15+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 7+ years specifically focused on commercial/market-facing systems within pharma, medtech, or healthcare.
- Global Reach: Proven success working in global, matrixed organizations with specific exposure to Europe, APAC, and LATAM markets.
- Platform Modernization: Demonstrated experience in application rationalization, standardization, and modernizing global commercial stacks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.

Work Arrangement: This position follows a hybrid model, requiring the selected candidate to be onsite
at least 3 days per week in
Bridgewater, NJ to support team collaboration and business needs.
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is between $270,000.00 and $320,000.00. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
