Position Description: -Onsite in Ottawa NCR 55 Metcalfe Street, Ottawa, ON with the ability to work regularly with Government of Canada clients, CGI Partners and stakeholders throughout the National Capital Region.

As the executive accountable for a significant Government of Canada business portfolio, you will own its strategy, growth, financial performance, client relationships, delivery excellence and talent. You will strengthen relationships with senior government executives, drive profitable growth, oversee complex transformation initiatives and position CGI as a trusted partner in advancing the Government of Canada's business and digital priorities.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Consulting Services, you will lead a high performing organization and, as a member of the NCR senior leadership team, contribute to the strategy and overall performance of the broader business unit.
Your future duties and responsibilities: What You'll Do
Executive Client Leadership & Growth
.Lead CGI's executive relationships with key Government of Canada clients, building trusted partnerships with senior executives, CIOs, technology leaders and business decision makers.
.Act as a strategic advisor, bringing industry insight, innovation and a strong understanding of government mandates, priorities and evolving business and technology needs.
.Develop and execute growth strategies that expand CGI's footprint and strengthen long term client partnerships.
.Identify, shape and close significant consulting, managed services and transformation opportunities, leveraging CGI capabilities including Digital Transformation, Data & AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications and Business Consulting.
.Provide executive leadership for strategic pursuits, including opportunity qualification, bid/no bid decisions, capture and pricing strategy, client engagement, negotiations and contract closure.
.Navigate the Government of Canada procurement environment and collaborate across CGI's Canadian and global organization to bring the best capabilities and expertise to clients.
Financial & Business Leadership
.Own the portfolio P&L, including revenue, profitability, bookings, backlog, utilization, workforce capacity and overall financial performance.
.Develop and execute annual business plans, forecasts and growth strategies aligned with CGI and NCR objectives.
.Maintain a strong, qualified pipeline and proactively manage financial and operational performance, risks and opportunities.
.Make informed investment, capacity and business decisions that balance current commitments with future growth.
.Drive sustainable profitable growth while maintaining strong delivery quality, client satisfaction and CGI Partner engagement.
Delivery, Governance & Risk
.Be accountable for the overall health and performance of the portfolio, ensuring engagements achieve contractual, financial, quality, delivery and client satisfaction objectives.
.Provide executive oversight for complex transformation programs, consulting mandates and managed services engagements.
.Ensure effective governance, quality assurance and risk management practices are maintained across the portfolio.
.Proactively address challenged engagements, delivery risks, commercial issues and client concerns, acting as the executive escalation point when required.
.Ensure CGI remains aligned with changing Government of Canada priorities, technology strategies and client expectations.
People & Organizational Leadership
.Lead, coach and develop a high performing organization of directors, business leaders, consulting professionals and delivery executives.
.Own workforce and capacity planning, ensuring talent, skills and utilization are aligned with current delivery commitments and anticipated demand.
.Build succession plans and leadership pipelines while ensuring effective performance management, career development, mentoring and recognition.
.Anticipate emerging capability requirements and develop strategies to build, hire or access the talent required for future growth.
.Foster an engaged, inclusive and high performance environment aligned with CGI's values, ownership culture and commitment to CGI Partners.
NCR & CGI Leadership
.As a member of the NCR senior leadership team, contribute to BU wide strategy, planning, governance, investment decisions, talent priorities and operational performance.
.Collaborate with fellow Vice Presidents and leaders across CGI to pursue cross sector opportunities, optimize resources and advance the overall performance of the business.
.Contribute to the strategic direction of CGI's Public Sector practice and champion CGI's values through leadership decisions, client relationships and engagement with CGI Partners.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: .15+ years of progressive leadership experience within consulting, technology services, professional services or a complex public sector environment, including significant senior executive and client leadership experience.
.Proven accountability for business growth, P&L performance, strategic client relationships, delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
.Demonstrated success developing and executing business strategies, leading significant pursuits and growing profitable consulting or technology services businesses.
.Strong financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting, portfolio management, pricing, investment decisions and complex deal negotiation.
.Track record of building, leading and developing high performing consulting and delivery organizations.
.Significant Government of Canada experience, with a strong understanding of federal priorities, operating environments, procurement processes and decision making structures.
.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior federal government executives and decision makers; an established Government of Canada network is a strong asset.
.Experience navigating complex federal procurements and translating public sector priorities into actionable growth, solution and delivery strategies.
.Strong understanding of technology and business transformation trends relevant to government, including digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, Data & AI and enterprise modernization.
.Exceptional executive presence, strategic thinking, commercial judgment, communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
.Collaborative and accountable leadership style with the ability to influence complex, matrixed organizations and balance long term strategies with operational execution.
.Demonstrated commitment to CGI's values and to fostering a culture of partnership, quality, integrity, respect, collaboration and accountability.
.Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant executive experience.
.Executive level fluency in English and French, written and spoken, is considered an asset.
