Full Job Description
The VP of Client Growth & Transformation owns end-to-end accountability for one of RVGT's client partnerships - the full lifecycle from strategy and system design through operational execution and performance delivery. This is the senior operational leader for the partnership responsible for client relationship health, AI-powered delivery, team performance, and commercial outcomes. This role requires a leader who can operate at the C-suite level with clients, get into the details of operational execution, develop strategy, think in agentic systems and workflows, and drive a cross-functional team toward measurable business results. This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and optional remote days on Mondays and Fridays each week. What You'll Do: Client Partnership & Relationship Management • Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for an assigned client, managing senior stakeholder relationships through strategic planning, execution, and renewal. • Understand evolving client objectives and translate them into tailored strategies and agentic system designs that drive customer acquisition and retention. • Lead strategic reviews, executive reporting, and client-facing communications that tie performance and data insights to business outcomes. • Collaborate with internal leaders and executives on contract structure, pricing, and long-term partnership planning. Agentic Growth Operating System Strategy & Build Direction • Lead the development of agentic strategies and workflow designs that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value for the client. • Design and oversee production-grade AI-powered systems, including: • Multi-step, event-driven processes and automated workflows • API integrations across internal and third-party platforms • LLM-powered reasoning and decisioning (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) • Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and structured/unstructured data systems • Partner with cross-functional team leads to ensure strategic plans are technically executable and built to scale. • Maintain hands-on fluency in agentic architectures sufficient to make design tradeoffs, challenge engineering decisions, and ensure alignment between strategy and system output. Delivery Oversight & Operational Execution • Own overall program delivery for your client partnership - planning, execution, monitoring, and iteration across all active workstreams to drive business outcomes. • Coordinate with cross-functional leads across Operations, Technology, Data and Compliance to manage resources, timelines, and quality standards. • Identify and deploy AI-native workflows across workstreams, embedding automation into operations in compliance with industry and client-specific regulations. • Establish evaluation and monitoring frameworks for AI systems in production, including accuracy, latency, cost optimization, and fallback logic. Performance Measurement & Reporting • Define and manage quantifiable KPIs tied to P&L outcomes across customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue. • Leverage SQL, BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), and/or Python to analyze system performance and user behavior, surfacing actionable insights for strategy and execution. • Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations communicating project outcomes, roadmap progress, and business impact to client stakeholders. • Build business cases for new initiatives and capabilities based on data and measurable outcome targets. Team Leadership & Development • Lead and mentor a team of directors, analysts, and operators across the client team. • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. • Partner with the senior leadership to shape team structure, headcount planning, and talent development for the account. Business Development Support • Identify opportunities to expand and deepen client engagements through AI-driven transformation. • Contribute to internal strategy discussions, pricing models, and value proposition development as the client POV. What We're Looking For: • 10+ years of experience in consulting, digital operations, product, or strategic planning • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI-powered or automated workflows in production, including systems that make decisions, integrate multiple data sources and APIs, and execute multi-step processes. • Strong understanding of agentic systems and modern AI architectures, including LLM integrations, RAG, API-driven decisioning, with hands-on experience shaping deployments. • Proven track record of managing client relationships at the VP and C-suite level. • Strong analytical capabilities and using data to drive decision-making and system optimization. • Deep experience defining and managing KPIs tied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue outcomes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to build strong client relationships and translate complex systems into executive-ready insights. • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
