Full Job Description
•• Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the GreatNonprofits' overall strategy
• Drive all phases of business development, including research, market analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of partners
• Proactively identify key growth areas and evaluate opportunities to build market share.
• Develop and manage programs for different buyer audiences, products and services
• Manage contract negotiations
• Build excellent working relationships at all levels while coordinating integration planning of new businesses
Development Management:
• Prospect and cultivate relationships with foundation staff and individual donors
• Prepare and submit foundation grants and corporate requests
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5-8 years' sales, marketing or business development experience
• Previous experiences in software selling is an advantage
• Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate the GreatNonprofits mission to others effectively
• Strong public speaking experience
• Successful track record of business development, account management and sales strategy
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Prior work or volunteer experience at a nonprofit
• Familiarity with fundraising required
