Full Job Description
What we're looking for
  • An experienced business development leader to drive new business for DLPR's financial services practice, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through pitch and close.
  • Ideal candidates bring eight to twelve years in business development or proposal work, ideally serving financial services clients, and are comfortable owning pursuits end to end.
  • This is a hands-on, senior role with real independence. You'll partner closely with DLPR's senior leaders and their established sector relationships while you set the pace on pursuits and build a repeatable approach to financial services BD as the practice grows.

What you'd do
  • Own financial services business development end to end, from identifying and qualifying prospects through pitch and close.
  • Develop proposals and pitch materials that speak to what each prospect actually needs.
  • Pull together pitch teams for each opportunity, working with practice leaders to bring the right expertise to the table.
  • Build and maintain a library of financial services case studies and credentials the team can reuse, keeping it current and approved.
  • Own the financial services pipeline, setting priorities and keeping pursuits moving forward.
  • Track target accounts and emerging opportunities across asset and wealth management, banking, capital markets, fintech, and crypto.
  • Watch competitor activity and market trends, and fold what you learn into how we position and pursue.
  • Cultivate relationships with key prospects and decision-makers over time, and represent the firm at industry events where it counts.
  • Keep pipeline data current in the CRM and contribute to regular BD reporting for leadership.

Why we want you
  • You've spent eight to twelve years in business development or proposal work, ideally in or around financial or professional services, or an agency serving those clients.
  • You've come up through PR or communications, or moved into BD from an account or advisory background. That path is a real plus.
  • You can run a complex, multi-stakeholder pitch from first contact through submission, and you write high-quality content yourself.
  • You know the financial services world well, from the sectors and market dynamics to what these organizations need from a communications partner.
  • You're self-directed and comfortable owning a pipeline and setting your own priorities without much day-to-day direction.
  • You can juggle several live pursuits at once without letting quality slip.
  • You build trust quickly and work well with senior colleagues and practice leaders across a matrixed organization.
  • You're comfortable building polished, client-ready materials in PowerPoint and know your way around a CRM (HubSpot a plus).

What we offer

  • Friendly and highly collaborative working environment where your voice will be heard and your ideas will count.
  • Opportunity to work with leading financial, law and professional services firms on a global scale within an international network.
  • A focus on growth and professional development: twice annual professional planning sessions, regular access to leadership and mentorship opportunities.
  • Hybrid work schedule; two days in the office with three optional work-from-home days per week.
  • $175 one-time stipend for your at-home work set-up; $50 monthly stipend for your smartphone contract and a stipend to upgrade your device every three years.
  • Competitive salary and customizable benefits package including:
    • 100% company paid health, dental and vision insurance coverage
    • 401k with competitive company match
    • Employee Assistance Program and free annual membership to the Calm app
  • Ample time off: 15 vacation days, 10 annual company holidays, nine days paid sick leave, one personal day and an "on call" period between Christmas and New Year's.
  • Thorough onboarding and training process that extends throughout your tenure with the company.

The current annual base salary range for this position is $155,000-$180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Infinite's total compensation package for employees.
