About Rye Harrison Veterinary HospitalFor more than 40 years, Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted part of the Sound Shore community. Dr. Gary Yarnell purchased the practice from Dr. Howard Harmond in 1980. Since then, it has grown from a single-doctor practice into a multi-doctor animal hospital offering full-service care, including wellness, urgent care, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry. Drs. Pisciotta and Green also see exotic patients, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
In 2026, we opened a second location in Rye Brook, just six minutes from our main hospital. The new space adds appointment availability for our patients and gives our team more room to grow. It also helps us meet the needs of the community we serve.
We're proud of our history and excited about what's ahead. As a Practice Manager, you'll help lead this next chapter by supporting a collaborative team, strengthening the client experience, and helping us deliver gold standard veterinary care across both locations.
