Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist - Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County

Compensation: $190,000-$225,000 base + 25% production potential, based on experience and qualifications
Employment Type: Full-time opportunity in San Marcos, California
Schedule: Full-time

In your day-to-day, you will
  • Provide advanced Internal Medicine care for a diverse and complex referral caseload
  • Develop comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans for challenging medical cases
  • Collaborate closely with Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and other specialty services
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities including CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography
  • Perform and develop advanced diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures within the scope of your interests and expertise
  • Work alongside an experienced Internal Medicine team with strong technician support
  • Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted Internal Medicine resource for the community
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
  • Participate in mentorship, teaching, and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Internal Medicine service
  • Help shape Internal Medicine within VSH North County's new 35,000-square-foot facility
  • Contribute to a collaborative hospital culture centered on multidisciplinary medicine, clinical excellence, and team well-being
