In your day-to-day, you will:- Manage complex internal medicine cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, infectious disease, endocrine, hematologic, and respiratory conditions
- Perform and/or order diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and CT as available
- Coordinate with emergency and other specialty teams on shared patients and transfers
- Develop lasting relationships with referring veterinarians throughout the Inland Empire
- Help establish clinical protocols and workflows as the Internal Medicine service grows
- Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management
- Pursue opportunities for continued growth in areas such as ultrasound proficiency and advanced procedures
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning
What You Bring- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for California veterinary licensure
- Board Certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine (DACVIM) or residency trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine and board eligible
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care
- A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine
- An interest in developing and growing a referral-based Internal Medicine service
