Pet Medical Center & Spa is a multi-doctor full service, progressive veterinary practice. Our facility is a standalone veterinary hospital that boasts plenty of space and high quality equipment. We offer our clients and patients a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor, climate controlled boarding kennels for dogs and cats with outdoor walking areas. We also offer doggie daycare.

Veterinarians looking to relocate to California: please note that the CA State Board Exam has been eliminated!

About the hospital and position:
  • AAHA accredited
  • 3 Dr. practice - small animal GP with some exotics
  • Gentle schedule - pick the number of days you want to work and let's chat!
  • Usually 2 Doctors working at a time
  • Healthy work life balance:
    • 4 weeks vacation (for full-time Doctors) in addition to holidays & CE days
    • 4 weeks PAID sabbatical (for full-time Doctors) for every 5 years of service
    • we do not tolerate abusive clients
    • leave on time, 1.5 hour lunch, 1st 30 min of the day have no appts
  • Updated equipment - digital radiography, digital dental radiographs, new ultrasound
  • Tenured staff
  • 2:1 Tech to Dr. ratio (Techs handle estimates - you don't have to talk money with clients)
  • 60% dogs, 40% cats roughly
  • Acupuncture and herbal therapy opportunity
What We Offer:
  • Base Salary of $110,000-$150,000 (depending on schedule and experience)
  • 22% production
  • Up to 20K in Sign-On or Relocation Bonuses

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
  • Licensure in good standing to practice
