This role is primarily at McCauley, but there's also the option to spend a day or two each week at our nearby New Melle Animal Hospital-a small, close-knit clinic just 17 miles away. Many of our team members enjoy this mix of variety while staying rooted in the larger McCauley community.

Why You'll Love Working Here
  • General practice with a wide range of services for small animals
  • In-house lab, ultrasound, digital x-rays, and digital dental x-rays
  • In-house pharmacy for fast, efficient care
  • Loyal, long-standing clientele and a growing practice
  • PetOne Veterinary Training Center: Access to hands-on workshops, specialty training, and continuing education to grow your skills in a supportive environment
  • GP Mentorship Program with Dr. Abe: Supplemental mentorship to the in-clinic guidance, offering one-on-one support, case reviews, and career development opportunities
  • Collaboration with surrounding NVA locations: Tap into a network of resources, referral support, and shared expertise while maintaining your primary role at McCauley

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary + production-based incentives
  • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) match
  • Generous PTO and work-life balance - 4-day work weeks with every other Saturday off
  • Continuing education support, paid licensing, DEA registration, and professional dues
  • A culture that values your professional growth, mentorship, and team collaboration

Life in Our Area
Just west of St. Louis, you'll find beautiful wine country, parks, shopping, dining, and family-friendly activities all year round.
