One day might bring a wellness visit, a dental case, an urgent care workup, and an orthopedic consult, all inside a full-service hospital in one of Chicago's most walkable neighborhoods. With a 6-DVM team, advanced diagnostics, surgical capabilities, and engaged city pet owners, this is a place for an experienced doctor who wants interesting medicine without giving up the life outside of work.

The Opportunity:

  • A busy, varied caseload spanning preventive care, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, and medical workups.
  • Full medical autonomy with the support of an experienced veterinary and technical team.
  • Practice in a fast-paced urban hospital with highly engaged, invested pet owners.
  • Regular exposure to urgent care cases and advanced procedures, including orthopedic surgery.
  • At least 3-5+ years of experience as a DVM in a small animal GP, urgent care, or similar setting is required.


The Resources:

  • Six-DVM team supported by lead technicians, a surgical lead, pharmacy support, CSRs, and a skilled technician/assistant team.
  • Full-service care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
  • Dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and urgent care availability.
  • Diagnostics including ultrasound/echocardiogram options, EKG, radiography, and laboratory services.
  • Laser therapy to support pain management, inflammation, healing, and post-surgical recovery.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting salary of $130,000-$150,000 plus quarterly production bonuses with no negative accrual.
