Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Completion of a residency in veterinary anesthesiology
• Board certification in veterinary anesthesiology or eligibility for certification
• Strong proficiency in anesthesia protocols and pain management techniques
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a large medical team
• Commitment to continuous education and professional growth
• Experience in a high-paced specialty hospital setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Enhance anesthesia services within a busy veterinary hospital
• Collaborate with a team of over 50 veterinarians across multiple specialties
• Provide advanced pain management and anesthesia protocols to improve patient outcomes
• Participate in case consultations and rounds with support staff and specialists
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for anesthesia procedures
• Educate team members and clients on anesthesia best practices and safety
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of veterinary care standards
