Salary range (but not limited to):

74,800 - 91,400

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

7.5%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Vendor Management Analyst to join our growing Tech+Lab Expense & Vendor Management team. Reporting to the IT Business Office, you will play a critical role in managing vendor relationships, driving contract savings, and supporting the productivity council, an executive governance forum to ensure strategic, timely, and cost-effective contract decisions across the IT vendor portfolio.


What You Will Do

  • Manage and maintain a contract renewal pipeline, proactively identifying upcoming renewals 3–6 months in advance to enable strategic planning
  • Support the PR Council by preparing and presenting contract renewal packages, negotiation strategies, and vendor recommendations for executive review and approval
  • Drive cost savings and spend optimization by analyzing vendor contracts, identifying consolidation opportunities, and supporting negotiations
  • Maintain and continuously improve the vendor management Power BI dashboard, ensuring accurate, up-to-date visibility into vendor spend, renewal timelines, and performance metrics
  • Conduct AI-assisted contract reviews using the team's strategy playbook to surface key opportunities, SLA highlights, and negotiation insights ahead of renewal discussions
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure vendor strategies align with business goals and organizational priorities
  • Lead the preparation of executive-level reporting and presentations for VP and Director stakeholders, translating vendor data into actionable insights
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of vendor management policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures
  • Serve as a point of escalation for vendor disputes, invoice discrepancies, and service delivery issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams and vendors

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance & Accounting, or Information Technology – is required
  • Minimum 3-years experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or IT expense management – is required
  • Advanced proficiency level: Excel, and Oracle ERP – is required
  • Knowledge in IT accounting and reporting framework and Power BI experience an asset
  • Experience supporting executive governance forums or preparing materials for senior leadership review
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of identifying and delivering cost savings
  • Familiarity with contract management principles, SLA frameworks, and negotiation strategies
  • Experience with or strong interest in AI-powered tools for contract analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
