Responsibilities - Vehicle Exchange Manager:- Meet and greet service customers on the drive or in the lounge area to build rapport in a low-pressure, friendly manner.
- Use our dealership software to review the daily service appointments an identify high-potential upgrade targets, such as customers with high mileage, older vehicle models, or equity in their current car.
- Perform basic walk-around inspections of customer vehicles while they are in the shop.
- Introduce customers to newer models and explain the benefits of exchanging their vehicle (e.g., lower maintenance costs, better fuel efficiency, updated tech, active warranties).
- Follow up with service customers via phone and email to schedule future exchange consultations.
- Maintains an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership.
- Maintains teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up process.
- Assists the used-vehicle department with trade appraisals as needed.
- Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements - Vehicle Exchange Manager :- 1-2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or entry-level sales (automotive experience is a plus but not required)
- Understand and comply with federal/state/local regulations which affect the new and used vehicle purchase and finance department
- Strong communications skills, team oriented
- Computer proficient
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Resume must be uploaded for immediate consideration
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
