Full Job Description
The Purpose: As the vCIO, you will support F12's top tier clients in providing consultation for technical strategy and ensure that we are engaging our clients in a way that aligns them with F12's offerings, while continually driving their IT strategies forward. This role assists clients in maximizing IT investment through exploring, introducing and evaluating available technology solutions and automation in order to enhance and streamline operations.

The vCIO is naturally inquisitive and will analyze how various technology enhancements can benefit a client, providing suggestions for optimal solutions. They oversee the client's entire IT infrastructure, ensuring their network is running smoothly. They will ensure documentation is up to date and assist with service analysts, upgrades, and conversions to F12 program compliance, as required. The vCIO will partner and build strong relationships with all key stakeholders, such as with their assigned client base, Technical Account Manager and Integrated Service Team (IST) Managers to ensure alignment and to provide invaluable strategies to improve the health of the client's business and their technology needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Cybersecurity: Implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the clients from various cyber threats and identify gaps for improved security measures
  • Technology Budget Planning: Oversee the management of IT budgets for the client-base, ensuring cost-effective use of IT resources
  • Hardware/Software Upgrades and Replacements: Manage client upgrade and replacement of hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Vendor Selection: Oversee the selection and management of client IT vendors, preferability utilizing F12 partnerships, to ensure high-quality services
  • Company Growth and Expansion: Support the organization's growth and expansion into new markets through strategic IT planning and implementation
  • Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity: Implement solutions for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity which meet F12 standards and the business needs of our clients
  • Overall IT Strategy: Develop an overall IT strategy that aligns with and supports the client business objectives by creation of a comprehensive technology road map
  • Revenue Growth: Work towards increasing the your book of business by X% revenue per year through by identifying solution gaps in supported clients
  • Outside Sales Support: Working closely with our skilled F12 sales associates, you will assist with uncovering business needs to ensure appropriate solutions are designed for incoming clients
  • Internal Mentorship: Provide mentorship to internal team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing
  • Internal Initiatives: Drive internal initiatives to improve processes, services, and client satisfaction

Requirements:
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
  • Strong understanding of varied requirements of F12's Client base
  • Strong strategic and business mindset
  • Stay current on technology innovations and trends
  • Awareness of financial management and business cases (budget, P&L, understanding ROI)
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of data analysis and business operations
  • Proactive thinker with superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to understand business needs and conduct meaningful conversations.
  • Agility to work in a team environment, and the autonomy to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent time management skills and the capacity to manage due date commitments.
  • 5+ years of experience or understanding of IT Managed Services industry.
  • Industry certifications and a willingness to pursue continual education.
