Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program
Current board certification required
ARDMS-RVT or equivalent vascular certification required

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies
Conduct Doppler and duplex ultrasound examinations according to established protocols
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document findings

Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment appropriately

Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in Brooklyn, NY. This position is ideal for a qualified vascular ultrasound professional with strong experience performing non-invasive vascular studies in an outpatient clinical setting.
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Vascular Ultrasound Technician who takes pride in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $40.00-$50.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies.
Perform Doppler and duplex ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
Conduct studies for conditions such as DVT, venous insufficiency, arterial disease, and other vascular conditions.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document findings.
Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment appropriately.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program.
Current board certification is required.
ARDMS-RVT or equivalent vascular certification required.
Previous experience performing vascular ultrasound, Doppler, and duplex studies.
Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
