Full Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for a founding UX Validation Lead to build and lead our UX/HMI validation practice from the ground up. You will define the bridge between early-stage HMI concepts and production-grade software quality. This is a hands-on role: you will set the test approach, build the automation infrastructure, and grow a team of test engineers into domain test specialists.

What You'll Do
  • Define and drive the end-to-end HMI/UX validation strategy, establishing quality standards for display logic, control flows, and user experience across the platform.
  • Build and scale automated UI testing infrastructure, including test harnesses, simulators, visual regression frameworks, and CI/CD integration to enable efficient validation from HIL to full-vehicle testing.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to debug complex UI and system issues, partner with TPM and validation teams on feature test plans, and mentor a high-performing test engineering team.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software validation experience, with significant depth in UI/UX, display, or HMI testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience owning a validation domain, defining test strategy, methodology, and automation infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Strong background in automated UI testing and validation, including frameworks such as Appium and end-to-end test planning from requirements through release sign-off.
  • Experience with Linux, QNX, or Android Automotive (AAOS), with an understanding of automotive networking (CAN, Ethernet) and its interaction with HMI systems.

Nice to Have
  • Deep expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or QNX.
  • Visual regression tools (e.g., Applitools, Percy).
  • Modern CI/CD tooling (e.g., Buildkite, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Don't meet every single requirement? If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
