Role Summary: We're seeking a contract UX Designer to join our Product Design team on-site 3 days per week at the Great Wolf corporate office. This is a hands-on, full-time, temporary engagement, ideal for a designer who thrives in a collaborative, in-person environment for part of the week while maintaining flexibility to do focused design work remotely.
Responsibilities:- Design end-to-end user experiences for guest-facing and internal digital products, from concept through high-fidelity execution
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and journey maps to communicate design solutions
- Extend and maintain Great Wolf's Figma-based design system, producing complete, engineering-ready components across coverage gaps
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing stakeholders to align designs with business goals and brand standards
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing results
- Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to validate design decisions
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of professional UX/product design experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or consumer digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process and visual craft, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-quality final UI design
- Ability to work independently and own design work end-to-end with minimal direction when partnering directly with product teams
- Figma proficiency including component architecture, auto layout, and design tokens, with experience working within and extending an established design system
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms and designing mobile-first
- Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Availability to work on-site 3 days per week at the Great Wolf corporate office

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
