Overview

Summary - basic function of the role

Seeking a UX Designer with roughly 3-5 years of relevant experience who will collaborate with global product managers, engineers, software developers, researchers, and fellow designers to identify unmet customer needs and translate them into clear, user-centered product experiences. This role contributes across the design lifecycle, from discovery and concept development through validation and implementation.

This role supports both physical products and digital applications, helping create cohesive experiences across tools, controls, displays, mobile and web applications, connected products, and related workflows. The ideal candidate combines practical UX methods with strong visual and interaction design skills, can communicate ideas through sketches, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and is comfortable learning from users in office, field, and industrial environments. The designer will also contribute to broader UX strategy, design standards, and the continued growth of user-centered design within the Design & Innovation team.
