Overview

Due to continued growth, TRC Field Services (FSV) is seeking additional Utility Inspectors/Gas Inspectors to support our California (CA) Client Teams. With a staff of over 200, FSV delivers comprehensive, cost-effective Construction Inspection Service solutions safely to our Utility Customers while providing the best training programs and mentors in this industry and numerous opportunities for growth with excellent benefits.

TRC is looking for experienced Utility Inspectors/Gas Inspectors with experience and certifications and Operator Qualifications (OQ) which will dictate the varying level of placement, but we are seeking a level of inspector meeting stated minimum requirements, OQ evaluation and documentation of certifications. Position requires independence, professionalism, communication skills and the ability to work objectively in a construction team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect structures as related to gas line construction/testing and ensure customer specifications are met
  • Coordinate and inspect contractors work for job quality to determine structural soundness and compliance with specifications, building codes, and other regulations
  • Inspections may be general in nature or may be limited to a specific area, such as Gas Pipe systems, Trenching and/or Shoring

Qualifications

  • API 1169 Certification
  • Certifications and Operator Qualifications (OQ)
  • member in good standing of the Local Union of the IBEW
  • Obtain and maintain PG&E required Operator Qualifications
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority (if unsafe work conditions exist)
  • Independence, professionalism, communication skills and the ability to work objectively in a construction team environment

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $68.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr.
