You Are:

A utility industry professional with experience supporting Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations and real-time operational technologies. You understand the challenges utilities face as they modernize their grids and integrate new technologies to improve reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency. You have experience working with or supporting platforms such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, OMS, or related operational technologies and are passionate about helping utilities navigate grid modernization initiatives.

You enjoy solving complex business and technology challenges, working directly with clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful outcomes. Whether supporting a system implementation, business process improvement initiative, operational transformation, or technology assessment, you bring strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a client-first mindset. You are curious about emerging technologies, including advanced analytics, automation, and AI, and are eager to help clients explore innovative approaches to utility operations.

The Work

  • Support utility clients in the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time operational systems including SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, and related technologies

  • Support delivery of real-time systems and grid modernization projects for electric, gas, and water utility clients.

  • Lead workstreams or project activities depending on level and experience.

  • Perform current-state assessments, process analysis, and operational improvement evaluations.

  • Support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and change management activities.

  • Analyze business and operational requirements and help translate them into functional and technical solutions

  • Assist clients in modernizing grid operations through process improvement, technology transformation, and operational excellence initiatives

  • Support workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions to gather requirements and align business and technology objectives

  • Develop client deliverables, including assessments, roadmaps, process documentation, business cases, and executive presentations

  • Identify operational risks, issues, and dependencies and support mitigation planning throughout project delivery

  • Collaborate with utility clients, system integrators, and technology vendors to support successful project execution

  • Leverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve operational decision-making and business outcomes

  • Contribute to internal capability development, knowledge sharing, and practice growth initiatives

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and project teams while delivering high-quality work products

  • Support business development activities, proposal efforts, and thought leadership initiatives as opportunities arise

  • Ability to travel as required to support client engagements.

Here's what you need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in utility operations and real-time systems, with deep expertise across Transmission & Distribution (T&D) control room environments, including grid operations, reliability, and system optimization.

  • Experience supporting utility operations, operational technology, grid modernization, or business transformation initiatives within electric, gas, or water utilities.

  • Experience working with or supporting real-time operational systems such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, OMS, GIS, or related utility technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to technology implementation, operational improvement, or transformation programs in utility or infrastructure-intensive environments.

  • Experience collaborating with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, solve problems, and deliver business outcomes.

  • Understanding of utility operational processes and how operational technologies support reliability, resilience, safety, and grid performance.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business and operational challenges into actionable recommendations.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and project delivery.
