Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of UX design experience, with emphasis on complex digital solutions.
• Proficient with screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA) for accessibility testing.
• Required experience in wire-framing and visual design.
• Strong foundation in research, usability, and user testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of 508 compliance and WCAG 2.1 standards essential.
• Expertise in Adobe XD and Adobe Suite products mandatory.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support user experience initiatives for the Health & Human Services Agency by providing input on all products.
• Create wireframes and design standards for systems and websites for review and approval.
• Assess current systems from a human-centered design perspective and produce detailed reports on suggested improvements.
• Incorporate user experience participation in development and operation of services and systems.
• Design and deliver high-fidelity wireframes for various devices and interfaces.
• Translate product vision into real digital experiences through varied design methods.
• Identify design issues and develop simple, effective solutions.
