Job Title: User Experience Designe
Location: 1430 Enclave Parkway, Houston, TX 77077
Full-Time or Part-Time: Full-Time
Role OverviewWe are looking for a forward-thinking
Product Designer to help define the next generation of AI-native software. In this role, you will move beyond static screens and traditional linear forms to architect
agentic workflows-interfaces where autonomous AI agents assist, anticipate, and execute complex multi-step tasks on behalf of users. In this role, you will take complex business logic and ambiguous user problems and turn them into elegant, seamless user journeys. You will lead the creation of
Generative UI (GenAI UI) systems, enabling context-aware, dynamic interfaces that adapt in real time based on model outputs, structured data, and human feedback.
Key Responsibilities- Architect Agentic & Non-Linear Workflows: Design experiences for autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, balancing human control with system autonomy (human-in-the-loop, approval checkpoints, override states, and ambient feedback loops).
- Design Generative & Adaptive UI Systems: Partner with design systems and engineering teams to establish dynamic UI patterns, dynamic cards, flexible canvases, and generative UI tokens that render UI components on the fly.
- Orchestrate Probabilistic UX: Design for AI uncertainty, confidence levels, latency, loading states, and hallucination handling. Build trust through transparent, accountable, and explainable AI interaction patterns.
- End-to-End Product Design: Lead the design process from discovery and problem definition to high-fidelity UI design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff.
- Modern Interface & Workflow Design: Architect clear, intuitive user flows across standard and emerging interaction patterns-balancing traditional UI paradigms with modern, dynamic, and context-aware interfaces (e.g., adaptive cards, generative UI components, and intelligent assistants).
- User Research & Validation: Conduct qualitative research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to validate assumptions and iterate based on real user feedback
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with ML/AI Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Scientists to turn raw model capabilities (APIs, tools, RAG pipelines) into intuitive, high-craft user experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements- Experience: 5+ years of digital product design experience, with direct experience shipping AI-powered, conversational, or agentic features in production.
- Agentic UI Mastery: Demonstrated understanding of multi-agent patterns, command interfaces, canvas-based workspaces, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop guardrails.
- Design Systems & Generative UI: Experience structuring design tokens and component libraries so they can be consumed dynamically by AI models and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vercel AI SDK).
- Prototyping Craft: High proficiency in high-fidelity interactive prototyping to demonstrate multi-state AI interactions, micro-animations, and dynamic UI transitions.
- Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end problem solving, strong UI craft, customer empathy, and experience with complex user workflows.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in HCI/Design or work experience in designing and building agentic experiences
- Good oral and written communication skills
