Position Summary...
Join Walmart as a Staff Software Engineer in Information Security, where you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to analyze requirements, manage risks, and deliver high-quality, resilient systems. You will drive continuous integration practices, oversee coding standards, and ensure adherence to security protocols. Leveraging expertise in software architecture and cybersecurity, you will contribute to safeguarding critical business assets while supporting innovation and operational excellence within a dynamic technology environment.

What you'll do...
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
  • Design scalable, modular software architectures that meet security, availability, and maintainability standards.
  • Develop, review, and maintain secure code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Conduct risk analysis and contribute to mitigation strategies during requirement gathering and solution design phases.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot security issues, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for software defects and vulnerabilities.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Herndon, Virginia US-10710: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
