What you'll do...

Position Summary
The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily fulfillment center operations, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and a safe, productive work environment. This role drives performance across multiple functional areas, including fulfillment, inventory management, staffing, quality, safety, and transportation operations. The Senior Operations Manager develops and executes strategic initiatives that improve productivity, enhance the member experience, and achieve business objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
  • Lead and direct fulfillment center operations to achieve performance goals related to productivity, quality, member satisfaction, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that support business objectives and drive continuous improvement across the facility.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational data, and implement action plans to improve results.
  • Ensure operational readiness through effective workforce planning, workload forecasting, and resource allocation.

People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop salaried and hourly associates across multiple operational departments.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and create development opportunities to build organizational capability.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and associate engagement initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performing culture that values collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Financial & Business Management
  • Manage operating expenses and assets within budgetary expectations while maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze business reports, labor metrics, and financial performance to identify opportunities and address operational challenges.
  • Ensure effective utilization of facility resources to meet service and profitability goals.

Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and operational standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes that support quality, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead audits, investigations, and corrective action plans to address operational, safety, and quality concerns.
  • Ensure associates are trained and equipped to perform their responsibilities safely and effectively.

Logistics & Fulfillment Excellence
  • Direct logistics and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient order processing, inventory flow, shipping, and delivery execution.
  • Implement processes and systems that drive operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.
  • Lead response efforts for operational disruptions, equipment issues, emergencies, and facility incidents.
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve fulfillment efficiency, throughput, and member satisfaction.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with associates, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional partners to support business objectives.
  • Address and resolve associate, member, and supplier concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Represent the company within the local community by supporting charitable initiatives, community outreach programs, and company-sponsored events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading large teams in a distribution center, fulfillment center, warehouse, or high-volume logistics environment.

  • Strong analytical, financial, and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.

The annual salary range for this position is $127,600.00 - $191,400.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
