What you'll do...
Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Data Science leads advanced analytical initiatives to develop, validate, and deploy robust machine learning models that drive strategic business decisions. This role requires expertise in statistical modeling, data visualization, and programming languages such as Python and SQL. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, guiding model development, and mentoring associates. The successful candidate will ensure alignment with business objectives, promote best practices in data science, and support continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable business impact.

What you'll do:

We're looking for a Senior Manager who is focused on driving initiatives in Ambient First Mile strategy team. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within the organization with expectations to deliver immediate results.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish, including cross-functional project management, data collection and manipulation, analysis and modeling, and the communication of insights and recommendations.
  • Build scalable supply chain models to optimize supply chain strategies with goal of delivering an excellent customer experience while balancing operating cost and asset efficiency.
  • Obtain alignment from business partners and management for projects and lead discussions to drive change.

  • Bring a high degree of originality and creativity when developing solutions to improve existing business processes within the supply chain.
  • Are adept at dealing with ambiguity and making independent decisions about what data and approach is best for the task at hand.
  • Excel in communicating with individuals and groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Extensive experience in data science with strong proficiency in machine learning techniques and advanced statistical modeling.
  • Skilled in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to business stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
