Position Summary...

What you'll do...
Walmart Marketplace is a fast-growing, strategic priority for Walmart, enabling third-party sellers to reach millions of customers on Walmart.com. Within Marketplace, the Seller Fulfilled Services (SFS) team operates a business where sellers manage their own inventory and fulfillment while Walmart owns the end-to-end customer experience.
The team focuses on improving delivery speed and reliability by driving adoption of platform capabilities such as Simplified Shipping Settings (SSS), enabling faster fulfillment options, and optimizing delivery promise systems.

What you'll do:

This is a vital role with significant growth prospect. You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that align with the overall organizational goals.

Some of the role key responsibilities are but not limited to:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions that drive business results.
Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to achieve their full potential and improve team efficiency.
Develop and maintain SDLC processes and best practices- setting and enforcing high standards for quality, reliability, and security in deployed solutions.
Work cross-functionally with business, product, data science, front-end engineering, Java Backend engineering and data engineering teams to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.
Effectively communicate technical work to senior/executive leaders in both technical and non-technical settings.
Stay up to date with the latest AI technologies and trends, serving as a thought leader who inspires and guides teams to harness AI for improving productivity.

What you'll bring:
Deep knowledge and experience in building complex, large-scale, mission-critical applications with microservice architecture in Kubernetes.
Highly resourceful and methodical in solution/architecture/API/codebase design and ability to translate product requirement into engineering blueprint.
Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs and related tooling ecosystem a plus.
Experience developing and maintaining SDLC processes and best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, and model monitoring.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize requirements across multiple domains and influence stakeholders/peer teams for strategic alignment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to approach problems in a logical and systematic manner

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
