Pay Rare/Schedule
$48-$58/hour | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Onsite in Pasadena preferred, remote considered | At $58/hr and 40 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $2,320 gross.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support control valve design and engineering for a leading energy technology company. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and evaluation of valve components to ASME code standards, with an emphasis on supporting nuclear valve orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of control valve components using sound engineering principles
- Ensure designs meet ASME code, product, and program requirements
- Perform routine and complex engineering analyses using established methods and tools
- Collaborate with business unit teams to gather and share technical information
- Contribute to technical projects and improvements within a team setting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Control valve design or engineering experience
- Working knowledge of ASME B16.34
- ASME Section III (Nuclear) control valve experience prseeferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
