Director, Manufacturing Value Stream

Global Value Stream As a Director on the Global Value Stream team, you will lead our Manufacturing value stream within HelloFresh's global supply chain, shaping the strategy and execution model for how we standardize, improve, and scale our operations worldwide. You will lead a team, set the department's operational agenda, and serve as a senior voice of operations across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role that sits at the intersection of operations, technology, and global strategy.

You will...
  • Define and execute the strategic direction for the portfolio of Manufacturing processes, owning the multi-year capability roadmap and global template.
  • Lead and build a high-performing, accountable department with clear OKRs aligned to company strategy.
  • Set the governance framework and operating model for how the Global Value Stream team designs, validates, and deploys process and technology standards internationally.
  • Partner at the executive level with Operations, Product, Engineering, and others to align on global priorities, technology investments, and performance benchmarks.
  • Serve as the final decision authority on process deviation requests, capability exceptions, and cross-market design trade-offs.
  • Drive the organization's approach to continuous improvement, value stream analysis, and waste elimination at scale - setting the standard for how the company approaches process maturity.
  • Ensure the team functions as an effective internal consultancy - providing rigorous expert support to regional operations, quality teams, and technology partners.

  • 12-15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing - including significant senior leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams across multiple geographies, with full accountability for operational outcomes.
  • Deep expertise across multiple supply chain functional domains, with a breadth of experience that enables credible leadership across the full Value Stream portfolio.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing department budgets and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Extensive experience with global process standardization, operational technology ecosystems (WMS/WES/WCS/automation), and large-scale transformation programs.
  • A track record of developing senior talent and building high-performance organizations.
  • Experience operating as a senior stakeholder in cross-functional governance and product/technology lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
