A Snapshot of Your Day

As the US Business Head for Arresters & Insulators, you are responsible for driving the profitable growth and long-term success of Siemens Energy's product business across the United States. You lead the development and execution of the business strategy, identify new market opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market share across utilities, EPCs, distributors, and industrial customers. You provide leadership to cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between sales, marketing, operations, engineering, and supply chain functions to deliver exceptional customer value.

A key part of your role is overseeing the performance of the Jackson distribution center, ensuring operational excellence, inventory optimization, and reliable customer delivery. Leveraging your deep understanding of the US transmission and distribution market, you develop growth initiatives, drive commercial success, and build a high-performing organization. With full accountability for business performance, you lead the organization to achieve revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence targets.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and execute the US business strategy for the Arresters & Insulators portfolio, driving sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Own business performance, including revenue, order intake, profitability, market share, forecasting, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive business development activities by identifying new market opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire cross-functional teams while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee operations and performance of the Jackson distribution center, ensuring inventory accuracy, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive developments, and customer requirements to shape portfolio, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15 or more years of experience in the electrical industry, including transmission & distribution, high-voltage products, or utility markets. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Proven track record of leading businesses, driving growth strategies, and delivering strong financial results with P&L responsibility.
  • Deep knowledge of the US utility, transmission, distribution, and industrial customer landscape.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams, developing talent, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including business development, strategic planning, contract negotiations, pricing, forecasting, and operational management.
Travel, as needed (~30%).
