Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent required
• Completion of all state licensing requirements necessary
• Possession of both state and federal DEA licenses essential

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat non-critical urgent cases presented through ER service
• Perform tasks such as bandage changes and managing ear infections
• Administer care for acute lameness and non-critical urinary issues
• Provide quality medical care from presentation to discharge
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow veterinarians in a supportive environment
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with team and clients
• Continue to develop clinical skills and confidence in urgent care medicine
