Job Summary:

Geisinger is seeking a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician with a passion for Urgent Care to join our team at our Selinsgrove location.
Geisinger's ConvenientCare+ program is an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. Acute care services above and beyond what is traditionally found in outpatient urgent care centers are available for the convenience of both providers and patients.

Job Duties:

ConvenientCare+ has much to offer, allowing you to live well in both your professional and personal life:

  • Attractive schedule:14 rotating shifts/month, no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts
  • Shifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S-S)
  • Support staff: Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebomoy, Radiology Techs
  • Specialized Equipment: Telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring
  • Diagnostics: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI
  • Hospital Admissions: If necessary, patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinic.
  • Services: Diagnostics, including laboratory and imaging studies (onsite), as well as various treatments
