Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric populations
  • Deliver urgent care and occupational medicine services including injury and illness care
  • Conduct minor procedures and sports physicals
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of medical care provided by the team
  • Manage a workload of 14 clinical shifts per month, including one weekend and holiday rotation

Full Job Description
Join Indiana University Health Medical Group in an Urgent Care Physician role in Lafayette, Indiana! This position offers leadership and growth opportunities, along with a great work-life balance due to the limited number of required shifts per month. Locations include on-site Laboratory and Radiology.

Position Details:
* Provide clinical care to Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric population
* Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine including injury and illness care, minor procedures, workers' compensation, DOT and sports physicals
* Responsible for appropriateness, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the medical care provided by our physicians and advanced practice providers
* 14 clinical shifts per month within our Urgent Care practice, 1 weekend shift per month and holiday rotation

* BC in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
* Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience preferred, but not required
* Occupational medicine experience preferred, but not required
