Position PurposeUrgent Care Associate VeterinarianSmartVet Veterinary Services | Normal, IllinoisSmartVet Veterinary Services is excited to expand our team with the addition of an Urgent Care Associate Veterinarian! This is a new position for our practice, and we are thrilled about the opportunity to provide an additional level of care and accessibility to pets and their families throughout the Normal-Bloomington community.
About the OpportunityThis position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys the variety, pace, and problem-solving that comes with urgent care medicine. You'll have the opportunity to treat patients who need timely medical attention while working alongside a supportive veterinary team committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
Because this is a newly created position, the incoming veterinarian will also have the exciting opportunity to help us grow and shape our urgent care services as we expand this offering for local pet owners.
ScheduleOur preferred schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, allowing us to provide greater access to veterinary care during times when pet owners often have fewer options available.
However, we understand that the right schedule looks different for every veterinarian. We are open to discussing and negotiating alternative schedules and encourage interested candidates to connect with us even if the preferred weekend schedule does not perfectly fit their needs.
Our goal is to find the right veterinarian for the team while creating a schedule that supports both the needs of our community and a sustainable work-life balance.
