Department of Psychiatry. This role oversees a high-volume, multidisciplinary outpatient service and ensures delivery of safe, efficient, and evidence-based psychiatric care across diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities- Direct all adult outpatient psychiatric services, ensuring top-tier care standards, patient safety, and clinical outcome metrics.
- Lead daily operations, optimizing workflows, capacity management, and integrated care delivery models.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary clinical team and oversee training programs, recruitment, and professional development.
- Ensure total adherence to federal/state regulations and accreditation standards while maintaining audit readiness.
- Drive program expansion, innovation, and long-term resource planning in alignment with institutional goals.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN required)
- Minimum 5-7 years of post-residency clinical experience
- Prior leadership experience with proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and driving operational growth or clinical innovation
- Deep knowledge of complex ambulatory psychiatry and regulatory/billing compliance
- Experience in teaching hospitals or academic appointments preferred
