What are the primary responsibilities in the UI/UX Engineer position?
Create visually appealing and functional interfaces that excite users
Interface with developers and engineers to turn concepts and required functionality into UI/UX design
Implement designs into interfaces through coding and programming to deliver products that meet requirements with functional design
Advise teammates regarding development timelines and solutions to any derived limitations
What required background will make you successful?
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Proficiency in coding languages for creating user interfaces
Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
Demonstrated proficiency in C++
Past successful experience in a UI/UX or related role
In-depth knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
Ability to assimilate into important development efforts and effectively collaborate to meet design goals

Preferred skills:
Current Top Secret Clearance
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Five or more years in Department of Defense development efforts
Where is the position located?
This position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters.
*The likely salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
