UI/UX Designer - TS/SCI with Polygraph requiredPosition Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand end-user needs, behaviors, and challenges, translating findings into actionable insights.
- Design and prototype intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences, incorporating human-centered design principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into Sponsor applications.
- Develop and present comprehensive UI/UX design strategies, wireframes, and mockups to enhance application usability and functionality.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and interface specifications, to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Perform usability testing to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs to meet user expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design to continuously enhance design methodologies and deliver innovative solutions.
Experience and Qualifications:To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
- 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design or Development or in a highly related technical field.
Required Qualifications: - TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- 5 years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience.
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions.
- 5 years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
- Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
- Familiarity with Sponsor's existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with Sponsor's overall visual identity
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
- Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions
