UI/UX Designer in
McLean, VA.Job Description:- Provide user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design, research, and development plans in support of the client's applications
- Leverage expertise in Ul/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
- Minimum of five years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience
- Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, In Vision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions
- Five years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
- Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams
- US citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Experience:- Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
- Familiarity with existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with customer's overall visual identity
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
- Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions
Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
